Begonia ferox is a rhizomatous begonia endemic to Guangxi, China. Its leaves, 10 to 23 cm long, are asymmetrical, glossy green in color with numerous round black bumps ending in a long trichome. It presents a remarkable hairiness both in its stem and in the leaves. Its flowers are small and white.
