Kleinia petraea, formerly Senecio jacobsenii. Despite the name it’s not a true jade (Crassula), it's in the daisy family Asteraceae. Also called Weeping Jade / Vining Jade.
Native to Tanzania and Kenya where it grows as a ground creeper, in cultivation it's grown for exactly what you see: thick, glossy, roundish leaves on long stems that cascade beautifully from a pot or hanging basket.
How to care for it
Light: Bright indirect to full sun. It will stay deep green in indirect light, but with 6+ hours of bright light the leaf margins blush reddish-purple. Inside, a south or west windowsill is ideal.
Water: Very drought-tolerant. Water deeply until it drains, then let the soil dry completely before watering again — typically every 2-4 weeks indoors, less in winter when it's semi-dormant. It cannot tolerate sitting wet.
Soil & pot: Sharply drained, gritty mix. Aim for at least 50% inorganic — coarse sand, perlite, or pumice mixed with cactus soil. Must have a drainage hole.
Temperature & humidity: Prefers 8-30°C
Food: Light feeder. Fertilize lightly once a year in spring. Too much makes it leggy.
